Hip No. 556, a filly by Pioneerof the Nile consigned by McKathan Bros., Agent, sped three eighths in :32 4/5 to post the fastest work at the distance at the Under Tack Show for the Horses of Racing Age section of the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2016 Winter Mixed Sale. The unraced dark bay or brown 3-year-old filly is out of Bojangle’s Cat, by Tabasco Cat, from the family of stakes winner Colonel Rutledge.

Hip No. 607, supplemented to the sale by James Layden, Agent, is an unraced 3-year-old son of Harlan’s Holiday. The bay colt is out of That Look, by Cryptoclearance, from the family of grade one winners Will’s Way and Willa On the Move
Hip No. 616, Majestic Gal, a supplemental entry consigned by M & M Ventures, Agent, is a 4-year-old bay filly by Majesticperfection. Out of Bijou Belle, by Cryptoclearance, she’s a half sister to stakes winner Lisa Stannard.

Hip No. 594, supplemented to the sale by James Layden, Agent, is an unraced 3-year-old chestnut colt by Freud. A half brother to stakes placed Motor City Mama, he’s out of Private Idaho, by Private Terms.
Hip No. 599, a supplemental entry consigned by M & M Ventures, Agent, an unraced 3-year-old gelding by Society’s Chairman. He’s out of Romanced, by Smoke Glacken, from the family of graded stakes winner Silent Greeting.

Horses in the Racing Age section, Hip No.’s 525 – 639, will be offered immediately following the Open session on Thursday, January 28th. The 115 horses in the Racing Age section include 28 older horses, 54 three-year-olds and 33 two-year-olds, cataloged as Hip No’s 525 – 594 in the regular catalog and Hip No’s 595 – 639 in the Supplemental catalog, available in printed form at the sales grounds.
A total of 522 horses are cataloged for the Preferred and Open sessions of the Sale, scheduled to begin Wednesday, January 27th with Hip Numbers 1 – 230 selling in the Consignor Preferred session.
Hip Numbers 231 – 524 in the Open Session will be offered Thursday, January 28th followed immediately by the Horses of Racing Age section.
