Thoroughbred Acquisition Group and Saffie Joseph’s Saraguaro rallied to take charge of the $100, 000 Millions Classic Preview Stakes at the quarter pole, then eased away in the stretch and scored by a length and a quarter. It’s the second straight stakes win for the two-time OBS graduate, first purchased by Jose Munoz out of the Hickory Meadow Farm (Clare Silva) consignment at the 2013 August Yearling Sale, then resold by Mr. Munoz to Mr. Saffie for $33,000 after breezing an Under Tack quarter in :21 2/5 prior to the 2014 April Sale. Trained by Saffie Joseph Jr., the 3-year-old Florida-bred colt by Express Tour is now 10-3-1-2 and has earned $205,404. watch his under tack video

J and J Stables’ Jewel of a Cat tracked the early speed in the $101,250 Millions Turf Sprint Preview Stakes, took command on the turn then drew away down the lane and won by three lengths. That’s three stakes wins for the 5-year-old Florida-bred daughter of Wildcat Heir, sold for $40,000 by Bo Hunt, Agent, at the 2012 OBS April Sale after she breezed an eighth in :10 flat at the Under Tack Show. Trained by Carlo Vaccarezza, she’s now 22-6-6-2 with $390,590 in earnings. watch her under tack video

It’s the first stakes win for the 4-year-old Florida-bred filly by Wildcat Heir, trained by Kathleen O’Connell, now 15-5-2-5 with earnings of $194,750. She was consigned by Summerfield (Francis & Barbara Vanlangendonck), Agent, to the 2012 OBS August Sale. Selected Sale conformation photo
