High Cotton colt, Maimonides filly fastest at June Under Tack opener

A colt by High Cotton and a filly by Maimonides worked eighths in :9 4/5 to post the fastest works at the distance at the first session of the Under Tack Show for the 2015 June Sale of Two-Year-Olds and Horses of Racing Age.

Hip No. 33, a chestnut colt by High Cotton consigned by Harris Training Center LLC, is out of Yes It’s Valid, by Yes It’s True, a daughter of stakes winner Valid Forbes.

Hip No. 139, consigned by King’s Equine, Agent, is a dark bay or brown filly by Maimonides out of Birds Up, by Wagon Limit, a half sister to stakes placed Kennel Up.

There were nine eighths in :10 flat.

Hip No. 16, Wicked Holiday, a bay colt by Harlan’s Holiday consigned by Randy Miles, Agent, is out of  Wicked Ravnina, by Wild and Wicked, a half sister to graded stakes winner Secret History.

Hip No. 43, a dark bay or brown filly by Benny the Bull consigned by Las Palmas Farm, Agent, is out of Acallabove, by Great Above, a half sister to stakes winner Bee Diligent.

Hip No. 96, consigned by Harris Training Center LLC, Agent, is a bay colt by Majesticperfection out of stakes placed Auspicious, by Indian Charlie, a half sister to graded stakes placed Flatter Than Me.

Hip No. 107, City Without Pity, consigned by Randy Miles, Agent, is a dark bay or brown filly by City Place out of Baliwink, by Gimmeawink, from the family of graded stakes winner Paula Revere.

Hip No. 118 is a gray or roan colt by Pulpit out of stakes placed Beautiful Song, by Unbridled’s Song, consigned by de Meric Sales, Agent for Golden Legacy Stables. 

Hip No. 122, consigned by Classic Bloodstock (Danzel Brendemuehl), Agent, is a bay colt by Harlan’s Holiday out of stakes placed Bees, by Rahy, a half sister to graded stakes winner Madison’s Charm.

Hip No. 132, Bought Out, a gray or roan Macho Uno filly consigned by Hoppel’s Horse & Cattle Co. Inc., Agent, is out of Beyond Price, by King of Kings (IRE), a half sister to grade one stakes winner Ordway.

Hip No. 178, consigned by Wavertree Stables, Inc. (Ciaran Dunne), Agent, is a gray or roan filly by Exchange Rate out of stakes placed Carson City Sham, by Carson City, and is a half sister to stakes placed Fast City.

Hip No. 190, a chestnut filly by Sky Mesa consigned by SAB Sales, Agent, is out of Champagne Dream, by Siphon (BRZ), a half sister to graded stakes winner Mamma Kimbo.

Five youngsters shared honors for the session’s fastest quarters, stopping the timer in :20 4/5.

Hip No. 34, consigned by SGV Thoroughbreds (Steven Venosa), Agent, is a bay colt by Street Boss out of You Call That Art, by Royal Academy, a half sister to graded stakes placed Leading Role.

Hip No. 78, also in the SGV consignment, is a dark bay or brown colt by Scat Daddy out of Antoinette, by Silver Hawk, and is a half brother to stakes placed Notassharpasuthink.

Hip No. 58, Blitzer Too, consigned by Hoppel’s Horse & Cattle Co., Inc. Agent, is a chestnut filly by Girolamo out of graded stakes placed Alfonsina, by Grand Slam.

Hip No. 64, a bay colt by High Cotton consigned by Ocala Stud, is out of Alotofappeal, by Trippi, and is a half brother to stakes winner B C’s Train.

Hip No. 109, consigned by Niall Brennan Stables, Agent, is a chestnut filly by Singing Saint out of Bambuyan, by Gone West, a daughter of graded stakes winner Big Bambu.

There were three quarters in :21 flat.

Hip No. 95, consigned by Wavertree Stables, Inc. (Ciaran Dunne), Agent, is a chestnut colt by Kitten’s Joy out of Audacious, by Manila, and is a half brother to graded stakes placed stakes winner Audacious Chloe.

Hip No. 146, Perdido Pomeroy, a bay colt by Pomeroy consigned by DreamCatcher Farms (Tashaunda L. Amador), Agent, is out of stakes winner Boldest of All, by Bold Executive.

Hip No. 152, consigned by Doble Jak LLC, is a chestnut colt by Cowtown Cat out of Brackley Babe, by Roaring Fever, a half sister to stakes placed Deviletta, dam of grade one winner Wicked Style.

A pair of youngsters worked three eighths in :33 1/5.

Hip No. 97, Swapi, consigned by West Carter, Agent for Crossed Sabres Farm, is a chestnut filly by More Than Ready out of Autumn Ash, by Tapit, a half sister to grade one stakes winner Pampered Princess.

Hip No. 144, a dark bay or brown filly by Freud consigned by Gayle Woods, Agent, is out of Blushing Bull, by In Excess (IRE), and is a half sister to grade one stakes placed Toro Bonito.

Under Tack results and videos are posted in the OBS website at obssales.com and can be viewed in kiosks in the breezeway and in the Video Room adjacent to the Horsemen’s Lounge.
