De Francis Memorial Dash Stakes in style, going right to the front, setting the pace, then drawing away to a 6-3/4 length score. The victory gives the the 8-year-old Florida-bred son of Greatness a dozen stakes wins, a 47-17-13-4 record and $1,090,051 in earnings. The three time veteran of the OBS sales ring was sold first at the 2006 Winter Mixed Sale then resold at the 2006 August Yearling Sale. Eisaman Equine OBS graduates took both juvenile stakes at Laurel on Saturday as Yes I’m Lucky and Aibhilin scored over the turf course.

Trilogy Stable and Laurie Plesa’s Yes I’m Lucky picked up his third stakes win with a 6-1/2 length wire to wire victory in $100,000 Laurel Futurity. Laurel’s $100,000 Selima Stakes went to David & Margaret Wimer’s Aibhilin, who rallied from off the pace and got up in the final strides to win by a head. Her first stakes win gives her a 4-2-0-1 record and earnings of $98,600. Lynn and Lola Cash’s Take It Like a Man rolled up on the outside to take charge of the $400,000 Researcher Stakes on Saturday at Charles Town then edged away in the lane and scored by a length and a quarter. It’s the first stakes win for the 3-year-old colt by Run Away and Hide, who worked an eighth in :10 1/5 before being sold for $27,000 by Ricky Leppala, Agent, at the 2012 OBS June Sale. Flurry Racing Stables LLC’s Little Miss Flurry is two for two and a stakes winner after leading from gate to wire and winning the $50,000 Lady Razorback Futurity on Saturday at Louisiana Downs by a length. The 2-year-old daughter of Awesome Again, who has earned $42,600 to date, was sold for $25,000 by J. RAP Racing and Westside Rentals.com’s Avare led from start to finish and scored by a length over fellow OBS graduate Tree of Life (August ’11) in Saturday’s $50,000 Pomona Derby at Fairplex Park. It’s the second stakes win for the 3-year-old gelding by Johannesburg, sold for $130,000 by McKathan Bros., Agent at the 2012 OBS June Sale after an Under Tack eighth in :10 1/5.
