Bluestone Thoroughbreds LLC’s Black Diamond Cat captured his second stakes win of the year on Saturday at Gulfstream, taking command of the $115,000 Housebuster Stakes a furlong from home and drawing off to a 2-1/4 length victory. That’s four stakes wins for the 6-year-old Florida-bred Wildcat Heir gelding, now 49-8-11-5 with $402,454 in earnings. The two time OBS graduate was sold first by Kaizen Sales at the 2008 January Sale before being consigned by Marion Bloodstock, Agent, to the 2008 August Sale.

It’s the third win in seven starts this year for the 5-year-old Florida-bred gelding by Pomeroy, sold for $43,000 by Eisaman Equine, Agent, at the 2010 OBS April Sale.
