Old Fashioned filly fastest at Under Tack finale

Hip No. 1001, Pop of Color, a chestnut filly by Old Fashioned consigned by Costanzo Sales, Agent, breezed an eighth in :9 4/5, the fastest work at the distance at the fourth and final session of the Under Tack Show for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2013 Spring Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training. She’s out of Splendid Honor, by Double Honor, a half sister to stakes winner Crusader’s Poetry.

 

The day’s fastest quarter was :20 3/5 by Hip No. 953, a daughter of Street Boss consigned by de Meric Sales, Agent. The chestnut filly is out of Sigatoo, by Black Minnaloushe, a half sister to graded stakes placed Solar Fire.

A pair of fillies consigned by All Dreams, Agent, worked quarters in :20 4/5. Hip No. 1033 is a bay filly by Wildcat Heir, out of Sugar Run, by Meadowlake, a full sister to stakes winner Amalake. Hip No. 1097 is a bay daughter of Kitten’s Joy out of Transformation, by Langfuhr, a half sister to stakes winner Peppi Knows.

Two youngsters worked quarters in :21 flat. Hip No. 1135, Tefa, is a bay filly by Artie Schiller consigned by Off the Hook LLC, Agent. She’s out of Vibration, by Catienus, a full sister to stakes winner Self Made Man. Hip No. 1158, consigned by Top Line Sales LLC, Agent, is a bay colt by Into Mischief out of stakes placed Western Melody, by West by West.

Hip No. 1096, Cheers of Thunder, turned in the session’s fastest three-eighths, stopping the timer in :33 flat. Consigned by Blue River Bloodstock, Agent, the bay colt by Circular Quay is out of Trail of Cheers, by Indian Charlie.

Two horses consigned by Old South Farm, Agent, shared honors for the entire Under Tack Show’s fastest eighth, getting the distance in :9 3/5. On Tuesday it was Hip No. 252, a  chestnut daughter of City Zip out of Danse Kongo, by Petionville. She’s a half sister to stakes placed Copy My Swagger. Hip No. 860, a youngster by Run Away and Hide breezed on Thursday. The bay colt is out of Regal Bird, by Grand Slam, a half sister to graded stakes placed Ghost Ring.

Hip No. 890, Thank You Daddy, a daughter of Hear No Evil consigned by Blue River Bloodstock, Agent, turned in the Under Tack Show’s fastest quarter on Thursday, stopping the timer in :20 2/5. The bay filly is out of Saint Sammi, by Saint Ballado, a full sister to graded stakes winner Flame Thrower.

The Spring Sale is scheduled for Monday, April 22nd through Thursday, April 25th with each session beginning at 10:30 a.m.
