Bingo fastest at Winter Mixed Sale’s Under Tack Show

Hip No, 234, Bingo, a 5-year-old stakes winning mare by Bernstein consigned by Moonshadow Farm, Agent, sped a half mile in :45 1/5 to post the fastest work at the distance at the Under Tack Show for the Horses of Racing Age section of the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2013 Winter Mixed Sale. The dark bay or brown mare, out of Isabeau, by Prospector’s Pick, is a half sister to stakes winner Beau Brass. She has earned $208,874 to date.

 

Hip No. 186, Casual Trick, a stakes placed 4-year-old son of Bernardini consigned by Scanlon Training Center, Agent, worked a half mile in :45 3/5. The bay ridgling is out of grade one winner Casual Look, by Red Ransom.

Hip No. 188, At Large, a colt by Orientate consigned by Thoroughbred Friends & Associates, Agent, zipped the day’s fastest three eighths, stopping the timer in :32 4/5. The unraced dark bay or brown 3-year-old colt is out of Catch Me Deputy, by Silver Deputy, a daughter of grade one winner Family Enterprize.

Two horses worked three eighths in :33 2/5. Hip No. 296, Nicks World, is a 3-year-old colt by Exchange Rate consigned by Craig L. Wheeler, Agent. The unraced gray or roan colt is out of Sarah’s World, by Holy Bull, and is a half brother to graded stakes winner Higher World. Hip No. 299, consigned by Hoppel’s Horse & Cattle Co., Agent, is an unraced 3-year-old bay gelding by Rockport Harbor out of Sea Way Lady, by Sea Wall, a half sister to stakes winner Everything.

A total of 641 horses are cataloged for the two-day sale, scheduled to begin Tuesday, January 15th   with hip numbers 1-162 selling in the Consignor Preferred session. The horses (hip numbers 163 – 348) cataloged in the Horses of Racing Age section will sell immediately after the Preferred session. Five horses were supplemented to the Racing Age section, boosting the number of horses cataloged to 186. Past performances are currently available online.

Hip numbers 401 – 693 sell on Wednesday, January 16th in the Open Session. The sale begins each day at 10:30 a.m.
