Mucho Mas Macho scores in Gulfstream’s Ft. Lauderdale Stakes

Signal Hill Farms’ Mucho Mas Macho had just one horse beaten in the early going of Saturday’s $150, 000 Ft. Lauderdale Stakes (G2) at Gulfstream, but the 4-year-old colt by Macho Uno came running late on the outside and got up in the final yards to win his first graded stakes race by a neck. The 2011 OBS March graduate, sold by Secure Investments for $19,000, is now 20-5-4-0 with earnings of $227,951.  watch his under tack video

George and Stephanie Autry’s Lady Banks tried stakes company in Saturday’s $75,000 Ruthless Stakes at Aqueduct fresh off a maiden special win on December 14th, stayed close to the lead before taking over in the final furlong and eased away to a two length victory. Fellow OBS graduate Railtown Girl (April ’12) checked in third. Sold for $130,000 by Wavertree Stables, Inc. (Ciaran Dunne), Agent, at the 2012 OBS March Sale, the newly turned 3-year-old daughter of Successful Appeal is now 3-2-1-0 and has earned $94,600. watch her under tack video
