Unbridled Command wins Belmont’s Mohawk Stakes

Lakland Farm’s Unbridled Command scored his second straight stakes win on Saturday at Belmont, romping to a 6-3/4 length victory in the $175, 000 McMahon of Saratoga Mohawk Stakes. It’s the fourth straight win for the 3-year-old graded stakes winning colt by Master Command, now 9-5-1-2 with earnings of $319,040. He was sold for $28,000 by Sequel Bloodstock (Becky Thomas), Agent, at the 2011 OBS April Sale. watch his under tack video

Gary Barber, Roger Birnbaum & Kevin Tsujihara’s Comma to the Top went to the lead at the start of Sunday’s $66,000 Big Bear Handicap at Santa Anita and never looked back en route to a half length victory. That’s five stakes wins for the 4-year-old Florida-bred graded stakes winning gelding by Bwana Charlie, now 23-10-2-1 and closing in on a million with $961,696 in earnings. Sold first by Beth Bayer, Agent, as a weanling at the 2010 OBS Fall Mixed Sale, he was purchased for $22,000 out of the Indian Prairie Ranch consignment at the 2010 April Sale. watch his under tack video
