Doctor Chit takes Belmont’s Western Larla Stakes

Mill House’s Doctor Chit, put away after his only start at two last year at Saratoga, is three for three and a stakes winner this year after a 3-1/4 length frontrunning score in Belmont’s $85, 000 Western Larla Stakes on Thursday. The 3-year-old colt by War Front, sold for $375,000 at the 2011 OBS March Sale by Parrish Farms, Agent, is now 4-3-0-0 and has earned $117,139 to date.  watch his under tack video

Earlier on the same Belmont card, Klaravich Stables, Inc. and William H. Lawrence’s Carried Interest battled for the lead right from the start of his debut in a maiden special weight test, took command after a half in :44 3/5 and hit the wire a winner by half a length after five furlongs in :56 3/5. The 2-year-old colt by Henny Hughes, sold for $190,000 by Niall Brennan Stables, Agent, at the 2012 OBS March Sale, picked up a check for $42,000.  watch his under tack video
