Ken & Sarah Ramsey’s Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G2) winner Stephanie’s Kitten returned to the lawn in Churchill’s $184, 800 Edgewood Stakes, drawing clear in the final furlong to score her first victory of the year by two lengths in a stakes record 1:40 4/5 for the mile and a sixteenth. It’s the third stakes win for the 3-year-old daughter of Kitten’s Joy, now 7-4-0-3 with earnings of $974,082. Consigned by Eddie Woods, Agent, to the 2011 OBS April Sale, she could make her next start in the Coronation Stakes (G1) at Ascot in June.
