The sale’s previous graduates continue to perform at racing’s highest levels, with six Spring Sale graduates winning grade one races since the beginning of 2011. The star of the show was Musical Romance, winner of the recent Inside Information Stakes (G2) at Gulfstream. Last year, after a graded stakes win at Presque Isle, she took on a tough field in the Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint (G1) at Churchill and scored impressively to earn the Eclipse Award as 2011’s champion female sprinter.  Stephanie’s Kitten’s victory in the Darley Alcibiades Stakes (G1) was a springboard to her victory in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf Stakes (G2).

Champion Blind Luck added three more graded stakes to her impressive resume last year, including a win in the Vanity Handicap (G1) at HollywoodParkbefore being sold for $2.5-million. Turbulent Descent and Weemissfrankie both posted a pair of grade one victories and Ultimate Eagle’s three graded wins included the grade one Hollywood Derby.                In addition to catalogs for upcoming sales, the OBSwebsite includes sales results, the latest news regarding OBSgraduates, sales schedules, nominations, credit requests, travel information and other news relevant to OBSconsignors and customers.
